When planning your event at Agape Acres Barn, don’t forget to factor in drinks and bar supplies — it's one of the most important (and most enjoyed!) parts of your celebration. Whether you’re offering a full bar or keeping it simple with beer and wine, planning ahead helps you stay on budget while ensuring guests are well taken care of. Our TIPS-certified bartenders are here to help, and we provide many essentials to make your bar setup smooth and stress-free.

How to Estimate Drinks & Ice for Your Event

Use this easy formula:
1 drink per guest × number of bar hours
Example: 150 guests × 4 hours = 600 total drinks

 

Full Bar Breakdown (Typical):

  • 45% Mixed Drinks → 270

  • 40% Beer → 240 cans

  • 15% Wine → 90 glasses

 

Beer & Wine Only:

  • 70–80% Beer

  • 20–30% Wine
    Adjust based on your guests’ preferences.

 

Water: Plan for 2–3 bottles per guest

 

Ice: At least 120 lbs in buckets or coolers (our freezer holds 3 x 20 lb bags)

 

Additional Bar Essentials:

  • ~600 clear 9–10 oz cups

  • Drink napkins

  • Garnishes & mixers (we provide dishes, tongs, and pour spouts)

  • Bar signs, tip jars, wine & can openers (provided)
