About Agape Acres
Many people ask, "what does Agape mean?" Agape means love, and is selfless, sacrificial, and an unconditional love. It is the highest of the four types of love in the Bible. This Greek word, agápÄ“ (pronounced uh-GAH-pay), Agape Acres Farm was the original name for our historic property. We had an amazing opportunity to move and restore the beautiful gothic arched styled barn that sat across the street, that we moved onto our property in October of 2021. The house on the property that was originally 80 acres, then parceled out over the years, was built by the DeWeerd family in 1886. One of the first homes built in Jamestown Township. We chose to keep the historic value by non-altering the house and keeping the original name of the land. The house sits original but with modern conveniences. Our family currently lives in the farmhouse. We are blessed to have this opportunity to share our space with you during the most memorable days of your life!
